Rick & I worked together one summer at Dole Valve Company.  He had a car and provided the transportation.  Dole Valve employed a lot of us during the summers and there were some wild and crazy moments when the goofing around got a little out of hand. Rick was always ready for fun.         In HS we had speech class together with Dan Curran and Tim Wyman,  Others of course but the four of us really had fun together in Mr. Melto's class.  We had our own little cigarette break every day just outside the door ant the west end of the main hall.  No one ever knew!      Rick's ambition in HS was to become a state police officer.  He said it was the ideal job just riding around in a car all day listening to the radio.  He served and saw a lot of action as a helecopter side door gunner.        He went on to become Sgt Mosher with the Bensenville Police.    To the end he was a fun friend.
